Looks like Moxie pulled that last shell out an hour and a half ago - I wonder if there is another hatch? ….It’s quite windy there now, too.

Two hatchlings so far…. About 50 minutes ago Jamie was on the eggs and Moxie brought in some prey. Jamie headed out as Moxie began the feed, giving most of it to the same chick(the other chick seemed to be sleeping, but did stir around during the feed. I did not see it get a bite) EDIT Just saw another feed-this time both babies got fed :loveheart:

Ever since my last post here, I’ve had this pesky thought that isn’t going away…Jamie was on the eggs and Moxie brought in prey. Seems really unusual for this couple…With the current concern about avian flu, I’m wondering if Jaimie doesn’t feel well….Yes, I know, it could be nothing, but I’d appreciate if when you check on this nest, notice Jamie’s demeanor as well. Thanks in advance :attention:

He’s a good dad! Moxie just came back and settled on the kids…I’m waiting for hatch #3………..

Moxie left the kids to go get some prey.While she was gone, Jamie came in to be with the babies. He very tenderly scooched in and touched beaks with each one. Moxie came back with breakfast, Jamie moved away and Moxie proceeded to give the babies a good feed…
