Me: Yes, I know...keep looking!! Its there!!

Good grief. :tantrum2:

Update:

There is no update. They still can't find anything "amiss" and want me to reopen the support request as the error is occurring...What are the chances I will be sitting here, with the cPanel and BCAW open exactly when it occurs...and what are the chances the issue will still be present when support eventually responds...

"hohum: :popc:

in the mean time, I've been blocking more bots/crawlers/spiders...oh my!!

Not quite 2024 but.....

minor update on the forum issue. Support has temporarily increased "Entry Processes" from 20-40...and given me "homework"..unfortunately, I don't understand any of the gobbledygook they have given me to "fix". It is all Greek to me....and I have no clue...so, I gotta do a lot of reading.

I need an IT geek.

Let's hope they forget they have increased it...LOL

I logged out about 9 to eat, and went to log in about 10 and I got for following message about 6 times in a row:

Tsusan posted in BCAW FB that she couldn't get in.

I guess I better get the locking/unlocking done while I can.

I received the same general error as catwoman that has maryanne's name in it and was unable to get in at all after numerous attempts throughout the night. I continue to get the "Resource Limit" almost nightly and also received a new one during the day yesterday that unfortunately I did not copy and now can't remember what it said. 'It is 'BEYOND THE PALE' now!

General Error
SQL ERROR [ mysqli ]
User 'maryanne_phpb1' has exceeded the 'max_user_connections' resource (current value: 30) [1226]

I am so sorry, SWINWK...

I have no explanation...I've had no issues the past several days...I've kept an eagle eye on all the systems via what's called the cPanel.

They increased what's called Entry Processes from 20 to 40 and while I've been on the past 36 hrs..well, I did go to bed after 2 am..Entry processes has not gone past 3/40.

Now the other error message is brand new to me. I had to research what it meant and it had to do with a stack overflow.... Here's the main cause: user or users attempting to access at the same time or within seconds of each other..I'm finding lots of info on this issue (I guess it happens a lot), but I don't understand any of it at all. Some can be caused by software issues..ie, data not releasing as it should and/or server (in our case, Acenet) capping access..which really doesn't make sense to me.

The only advice I have is patience and hang in there. Acenet support is responsive but not always helpful. Most of the time I get someone who thinks I'm an IT genius. Occasionally I get someone who tells me exactly what to do or they are kind enough to do it for me. I haven't been fortunate to get the latter my past few times.

I am so sorry...its frustrating because they aren't giving me any explanation to the cause...and I can't figure it out. They have increased several parameters...but, I'm not confident that will be a permanent fix..I'm glad its happening now and not in the middle of nesting season..

For now, everything looks perfect!! shhhhhhhhhhhhh, but don't tell anyone...

Actually, we are in the middle of nesting season. While I'm sure you are referring to the peregrines and all the work that involves for you all, don't forget the eagles. I am not glad it is happening now. :girlcrazy:

Yes..I was referencing peregrines...Eagles are definitely up and running!!

I'm probably gonna need to hire an IT person to try and figure all this out when it comes to tweaking forum software which may not be compatible with this new server...which makes no sense. When we get these error messages, cloud documentation tells me to "repair" php, dump cron jobs (we have none, BTW) check cgi, rewrite specific code to cgi, increase individual connections to infinity and on and on and on...might as well be reading martian!! :teehee:

Yes, I have thought it may have to go that route. Let us know of how we can help with funding. And don't forget to ask if there is also a way we can return to not having to sign in each time... :teehee:
