PattiO
That is just so gross, but you just can't stop watching how in the world do they do that?
I guess maybe they are like snakes that they can open their mouths and throats so big

Great catch, PattiO (both what you did and what the Owl did ;-) )! I love watching Barn Owls, even though it's hard to ... understand their eating habits ;-) .

I just watched the snapshots of the Swiss nest here. It's so true they are hilarious! As for streaming video, as I posted somewhere earlier, on this Swiss (German-language) forum, a Barn Owl webcam was followed that had streaming video and audio. If you page thru the topic, you'll come across lots of crazy snapshots and video's!

E.g., this one - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OcnKDWkYeGo

Pete, at Starr Ranch did not ask directly but ... he's trying to fix the sound and get a second camera in the tree. Donations are most appreciated!

I was starting to get alittle worried here when I hadn't seen
these 2 in a couple days but no worries now These 2 are so good together
I wonder if they are older or younger or what I remember 2 eggs last year but they got cracked and broke within about a week of laying them
