1:51pm- Beauty left in a hurry. I had volume on mute while watching something else.

No coverage on eggs right now. Waiting to see if DC shows up. Whatever was/is out there, got her up in a hurry. Hopefully he has some food for her?

Can hear some screaming out there. Here comes DC. Back to box. Maybe that was his incoming from a distance.

She was gone for a really long time, so surprised to see her up and out so quickly.

His beak looks clean on blow-up, so not sure what's going on.

Sounds/looks like Beauty back on deck. 1:56pm. DC chiping on eggs.

B just took off again.

She was only back for less than 20 minutes when she took off again.

Well, all must be clear now... B has returned at 2:22

She's talking to her babies and I can hear them when she's up. They are still faint, but I think a little louder today than yesterday.

Here comes Daddy... 6:10pm

I know you have headphones, so if you are hearing them also, I'll know I'm not going nuts!

Well, I can't hear anything right now either. They seem to be more active in the morning/day time. And it's not crystal clear like there's a pip. More like sound within, and it's not constant.

Well, if I had not been farting around this afternoon, I could have been listening and if I heard something, could have pointed it out.

If these babies are going to hatch Friday or Sat, we should be hearing something clearly soon.

And as I type that, I hear something.

Don't know how to describe it but, have you even had a gurgling tummy. Or if you drink wine, you sip/suck wine over tongue when tasting and it sort of gurgles.. or if you have a plastic baggie filled with air you submerge in water and there's a small hole and the air escapes rapidly, making a little gurgle? Tat's what they sound like in the eggs before pip - at least to my ear. Once pipped, they sound like loud chirpping,peeping, or to me, like a dog barking - arf arf arf arf.

No, No, No... don't take my word for it. For all I know, I'm hearing some other little birds flitting around the area. These headphones pick up a lot and sometimes I wonder if there's some little finch nests someplace close.

Nothing for you to be defensive about... It's me who sits here with these darn headphones in all day long - ignoring the world. Sometimes thinking I'm hearing things I want to hear, not what is really there..

Okay, time to start dinner.

DC is very antsy on the eggs this morning. Moving this way and that way. Scooching a little. Now more relaxed.

There he goes honking and chirping at his eggs. I don't see Beauty anywhere and eh's tucking eggs in, rolling them around, wiggling on them.

That's right Daddy... encourage them!

Close-up of eggs at last switch. Don't know if that's just a scratch, or the beginning of something.

DC still on eggs. I think Beauty did a quick check in, but silently, on the far wall. I don't think he could see her at that angle. She arrived close to wall, sat there for a few minutes, then took off. Very quiet. No vocalizations from either.

10:58 - Momma came to check in again, and I guess felt all was okay.. She was on corner deck and they had quite a conversation. She just took off again. Everytime she does this, I think it totally shocks him that she leaves!
