Tell me this isnt weird. Parent flew at window, slipped on its ledge.
All 4 chix are there, they pile together.

2 show much interest in whats over the side - both ledge edge and roof below edge.
If they perch and lose their balance and go down onto the roof I dont think they could get back up into the box.
Of course, the drop off the ledge is worse ............ O worry me! :think

She is trying to get back up and cant - and boy is she complaining!
Oh poor Inqi - she is full of bugs! She will bring them back into the box -if she gets up there .. err .. when she does.
What will Dad / Mom say?
Dad took prey and LEFT after feeding Inqi - I never saw him feed the other 3
Did he reward her ?

Haha - you got yourself into that! More food for us now!
Awww shucks! Dad is feeding HER FIRST! Cmon awwreddy!

I could write a short story about each nest. I did write one for a GHO a couple years ago

Early afternoon Inqi tries again - stands on one leg and tries to climb with her left leg - lol
A ps to - um - lighten the load ...
She almost made it! Whoo hooo! She got in! :)

I was finally able to get a decent snip of all 4 in box
One is wingercizing - there's quite a wind
I imagine Inqi will hop up on the ledge next - today or tomorrow
Parent is standing out there

May 20 Tuesday
Inqi is back down on the roof again, Shalom is resting her beek on the bldg cement curb,
Tinker is standing and Minx is faceplant (yuk)

I believed the small one was male and call him Tinker.
Male falcons get darker faster, the females get larger, so I can tell the difference.
Here Tinker preens and watches Dad guarding and / or hunting.
Isnt he a beauty!?

May 21 Wednesday
WHERE ARE THEY!!? The morning hot sun drove ALL the kids out!
I couldnt see them on cam2 - cam 1 shows them in shade - unsure where they are but at least I see them - sleeping. Oh - that roof below box extends out further. They followed leader Inqi example.
Well it appears safer than the ledge - which is probably next.
They were all in the box last nite - Tuesday evening.
O man, I hope lozo has a video!

Oh - the cam op gave us a GREAT circle tour of the city and falcon nest building!
The kids have a long long CLEAN corridor to run and flap - with a safe curb so they wont fall off!
What a great place to raise baby falcons! Just stay offa the upper ledge!

I guess we call this ........ ROOFING! :egg11:

Dad flew into box - then out again.
1 kid in box, 1 just below - the other 2 outta cam view
The kids foraged for food in the box, then one perched. First I saw one perch.
LQQK at the one below on her haunches - lol
Caught a decent family snip :)

Just before NOON
Feeding - One was in the box, but came down when food arrived

May 21 - I think this is shortly past NOON in UK
I can see Mom scolding kids - vocalizing - but cam 1 has no sound.
Clikt to cam2 and hear plenty of squawking and one kid tries to re-enter the box.
1 kid in, 1 kid trying to get in - AHH - she made it.
2 kids watching n laughing below
Oh I see - the box is shaded now
