Just a quick note to say that all appears to be going very well with the Wilmington fledglings! Kim keeps posting news as it happens, along with lots of beautiful pictures, on the Wilmington Falcons Facebook page.

If you check out the latest happenings by clicking on the following link, you won't be disappointed.

P.S. You don't need to be a member of Facebook to view the Wilmington Falcons page.

Fledge Watch Report

This morning was not ideal for watching falcons as it was very cloudy. I did get to see Red Girl on two of her favorite perches: the post on top of the Brandywine building and the antenna on top of a high building that I don't know the name of. And I got to see first two, then three, of the kids on top of the Brandywine building; while I didn't see the fourth, I did hear it somewhere up on top of the Nemours building. I also caught a glimpse of Trinity on his favorite column.

I did get to see Red Girl fly several times, and I also saw two of the falcons - either two of the kids or one of the kids and Trinity - circle above for a very short time. But because of the low cloud cover, any flying falcons disappeared very quickly into the clouds.

Thanks for your report from this morning Ethel! It certainly was messy then. Beautiful now though! Wonderful that they are ALL doing so well!

Just caught Trinity in the Box walking around and laying down in the depression I posted about the other day.
