Sisters...

I love sisters...

And I wish my sister lived closer so I could snuggle with her like this... (but maybe on not so hot a day!)

Windy in Rochester today and apparently Tesh got blown over (2:26pm) Sounds like they know where she is, just have to check on her.

Nor'e came in for a landing, missed and ended up in well (2:30). He came up and is currently resting on deck, hear bump/small platform on well wall.

Nettie is hunkered down on well wall close to building.

Update.. apparently Tesh is 12 feet off ground on a building. So not too high.

Window sills are hard for them to get off from, they usually come down to ground as there isn't enough space to turn around or spread wings. Depends on the window but both our girls came down this year from windows. Glad the watchers are there at the ready just in case. Of course this is Tesh and she's full of surprises :egg17:

No kidding!!!!

Let's hope she doesn't go into some kind of trance!

MAK says she's about 10 stories up on a very small ledge..no way she can be fed there.

Right after Tesh got blown off the wall, Nor'easter flew in, slamming into the wall, fell into the well and walked up the ladder! Not a good day today in Rochester!

They must have corrected the article, Kris, because now it says she was blown off the ledge by a gust of wind. Thanks for posting the article & the video!

Shaky had corrected the info on the Forum..maybe called paper to correct. Originally they said her brother pushed her off...poor Nor'easter. I think they all miss her tonight at the nest area..especially Nettie. Joyce said Beauty is perched near Tesh tonight so she'll be closely watched and MAK's going downtown early AM for her watch. Hopefully,Tesh sits tight until someone can get there to keep an eye on her.

Tesh is still on her windowsill. It was reported that the other 3 are in the nestbox area. 2 can be seen on cam. Hope everybody is safe today!

Tesh took off from the building a few minutes ago and, after landing on various buildings, has made it back to the TSB with her brother Mercury! Go Tesh! Nor'easter seems a little sore today after his collision into the TS building but did extend his wing out quite well according to cam watchers. He might sit tight a couple days..we'll see.

Nor'easter is still at box, very quiet today. No major flapping, some stretching. Looks like he's sore.

Here are 2 videos I captured this afternoon. It appears to me that there is some kind of injury to HIS left wing. He's eating (fed by Beauty) and seems to be balancing fine. Stretching left wing slightly. Walking the wall. Just hasn't jumped up on roof/cams or done any flying today. Probably trying to recover.

Here's a quick stretch:

Here he is walking the wall, extending wing somewhat, jumping to hump then to deck:

Well, we can see fly-bys and Nettie just took off. She was very excited before she left.

Nor'e is now alone at box.

One just landed above, followed in by a juvie or parent.

Nor'e is quiet. No wailing, etc.

I'm watching Nor flapping and his wing is not right. Hopefully he stays put until it heals.

Nope, not right at all, but the flapping he just did is the most he's done today, at least while I was watching. He could barely extend it earlier and that's the best extension I've seen since yesterday. He was very excited when Merc came in.

Definitely something going on. I hope just some swelling. He's been quiet today. Went to wall this morning and once back to deck (2:30ish) he has stayed put all afternoon/evening.

He rests most of the time. He did wail for Beauty, but other than that, has been resting.

Reminded me of DC last year when something happened during incubation and he spent the entire day at BS.

I feel so bad for him. All the others are flying around, having fun. Poor little guy.

I'm hoping it's just bruised and I know if he had come to ground they'd have kept over a few days until the swelling went down. If he stays home and takes it easy and DOESN't try to fly to soon but keeps extending it from time to time, assuming it is bruising and nothing more serious, then he should recover fine. I just hope the parents can see he's injured and don't try to starve him off the ledge as that would result in a more serious injury if he's not ready. So far he's doing good and taking it slow.

I saw B beak feed him earlier today. I can't remember what time that was, but she was on the wall feeding him. Other than that, he hasn't had anything.

DC delivered to Merc & Tesh above earlier. I'm assuming Nettie probably got some of that.

I hope they bring something to him tonight or at least tomorrow morning.

Mercury looks just like DC to me. And he's full of spunk!
