Yes PattiO it's been 48 hours since Mom laid her first egg.And since Dad has made two visits in the last few hours,I wouldn't be surprised if we don't have another egg real soon :grin:

The HOP people had the date of first laying as the 27th so I emailed Maggie Rufo with the link to here showing the pics of the eggs time stamped. Hopefully they will update their cam page.

Hey everyone...enjoying the pics. Barn Owlet alert: The starr ranch female sitting on 7 eggs will become a mommie by monday

The first of the 7 eggs is due to hatch sometime between now and then. It will be great to see little barn owlies again! :snowflakewow:

Let's hope our daddy hunts for the babies as well as he shows his affection to mommie, STILL mating while she's sitting on 7 eggs, all throughout the day and night! He must be a young dad :lol:

I'm so excited to see owlies, I can hardly wait... :sfwave:

Hey everyone, just a little heads up for the eagle luvrs out there. Norfolk Botanical Garden's eagle mommie has just laid her first egg of 2010! and we are still waiting for the first hatch at the Starr Ranch site...maybe by tomorrow am. Dont you just love it? :sfwave:
