Good grief...there has been another female at the igloo all morning...b/g 60/AV (pics to follow) Not in the Data base...but, I'm guessing its another VA "island" bird...VA bands sequentially (thank goodness)..but here's the mystery...the 2013 juvies from this nest are 55 and 56/AV...This current "visitor" looks older than a 2013 bird...but, what do I know..

Needless to say Mitchell was Flitting around the platform, not quite sure what to do..poor dear..

Morning is the worse time to try and get decent pics..

When I opened the cam around 7:35, the visitor was already there....I was pretty sure it wasn't Mitchell, but wanted to check bands to be sure (which took forever!!) Pretty sure this is female based on the behavior. She was very vocal..I suspected somebody else was on the platform, so I went searching and eventually found Mitchell. He took off while I was watching him, but feel sure he kept returning (based on all her bowing and vocals)...I just never found him again.

She left from the top of the electrical box (but, now she's back!!)
