MAK said in her report from yesterday that Nettie spent the night on the T-R building. While her siblings are flying all over this AM, she's still there so there are concerns she might be injured..watchers are keeping a close eye on her. They said she's vocalizing, walking and stretching..wait and see what happens.

I saw that, hopefully she just needs rest. When they start getting crazy in the air, they can bump each other pretty hard and she may just be sore.

I'm hoping that's all it is..they've been doing so well but it's that crazy time when they can get reckless. At least they know where she is..our little mother hen. :flirty:

Oh, I'm sorry to hear that Nettie is apparently injured. I hope like the rest of you that its just a little soreness & that she just needs a little rest. :egg15:

So Kris, were you in that picture I posted of the get-together? Shaky had said on Chat that you & your husband had arrived before I got the capture! I'm sure you had a wonderful time!

I was watching her yesterday and had recorded her on that building - of course I deleted it because I recorded way too long when I forgot I had the recorder on. Anyway, she looked fine to me. She stretched her wings, was head bobbing, walking fine. As a matter of fact, I started the recorder because I wanted to see her take off. Did not seem there was anything wrong with her yesterday, but as we saw with Nor'e, hopefully she's just resting.

I don't see any comments about her getting fed this morning.

Gosh, I hope she's okay. Of all the babies, she reminds me of Beauty the most. I guess because she would sit where Beauty did (Cam 4. Landed on Cam 1, beam in front of box, stayed with Nor'e, etc).

Don't want to freak out, I'm getting worried about Nettie now. I know it is raining there, but she's sitting pretty quietly. I don't like how she has pulled away from her family. I should be more patient and realize she may not be able to fly to them, but that they are not coming to her worries me.

I have not seen a food delivery and do not see any tweets regarding a food delivery. I hope she's just resting something and not more seriously ill - internally.

Sorry, just gets me nervous.

All 4 were seen yesterday early in the AM. After that, with it being so hot, the juvies were seen only on occasion. When seen, they were flying so high, it was hard to tell who it was plus we were all at the gathering and not aware of any problem. I've been texting with MAK today and they really have no idea when Nettie ended up on the Thomas-Reuters Bldg. yesterday. She thought she was a little lethargic last night but today she's been alert, walking fine, raising her wings high and even, flapping, vocalizing..they just tweeted that she's watching her sister on the ledge above the NB & doing a lot of wing stretches. MAK thought that maybe Beauty was trying to get back some food from one of the boys this AM to feed Nettie (she lost) but that's just speculation. Maybe like Nor'e...just needs time.

So the saga continues...Nettie continued to roam the rooftop of the TR building throughout the day. Tonight, she decided to tour more of the area, finding a puddle that she walked through 3-4 times then went back to the ledge. A short time later, a door opens and 2 men in white shirts and dress pants walk out and proceed to walk the length of the rooftop, turning around and going back through the door. :furious: Of course, Nettie got spooked and flew to another rooftop, near the TSB, where she currently is perched. Beauty headed south and a juvie flew off WW, past Nettie on the D&C building. She just took flight to another building and they say her flight looked good. So far, so good...

Great catch, mw! I'm thinking it might be her right foot but she flew and landed a couple times so we'll see what tomorrow brings and, hopefully, she gets some food.

MAK and Donna don't think Nettie's foot was a problem, that she was walking fine and flew really well after leaving the T-R building. She spent the night on the Telesca Building, near TS, and was last visualized on cam at around 5:30 or so. MAK reported seeing the whole family at around 7:30AM but was unable to ID the juvies because of the lighting. Here's the last pic of Nettie on the Telesca Bldg. Hopefully, she's going to be OK..

I have a question????
Is there no signs on the inside of the doors , telling people not to go onto roof with security knowing that there are birds nest up there. When ever I here about this happening, I wonder if a sign would make a difference.

The building where the men came out the door is the Thomson Reuters building and the nest box is located in a secured area on the Times Square Building. I don't know if anyone knows who the men were, maybe T-R security, but they had no idea there would be a Falcon up there...just bad timing on their part. It just happened to be where Nettie ended up after sustaining some kind of injury or whatever is/was wrong with her.

Thank You Kris.
It is hard to keep track of all the landings and where the nest box is.

You're welcome! Not being a Rochesterian myself, I'm not familiar with all the building names..just know a few myself. I'm always asking watchers, looking at the DT map for locations, etc

MAK and Donna were on watch this AM and saw all 4 juvies. They said not to worry about Nettie..she's flying well and when the food comes, she's right in there getting her share! :loveshow:
