I have been away but went to all the archives and Dd was in box with mom all day today. I am wondering if he comes in when she is getting ready to lay an egg.

That shot could have jsut been part of dad.

I will try and watch tomorrow

@ bev In my last pic it is Dan close to the nest and Snowflake at end of the stick.
She went out a few minutes after him.
I am thinking the same about Dan staying in the nest while Snowflake is in "labour",
but
He is in again this morning :roll:

I had the cam up all day and Dad stayed in with mom all day but I did not see any sign of him having to defend her today. Of course I was not watching every second ;) ;)

then they went out on perch at dusk and mom just came back in .

Way too busy today to watch any cams (Ash Wednesday and all). I'm so excited to see 3 eggs!! I missed watching these guys last year when they abandoned the eggs. I'm praying for all to go well this year!! NO CROWS ALLOWED!!
