Thanks, loza! This was a surprise to see this morning!! Last night when I checked the 1st 3 cams were so dark, you could not make anything out and I did not see him from the tree cam. Here are 3 captures from Mod jd AEF from this morning. Captures 2 and 3 are especially beautiful!!

Report from the mod indicates Samson is on the tree in hiding tonight. I was not able to find him. It's already windy here!

leigh_AEF (Moderator): Good evening everyone! Our sweet Samson stopped by the nest at 7:55. He flew to the Sunset branch at 8:00, flew at 8:02 and then returned to the nest and flew off at 8:04. Samson came back to the nest tree and branch hopped for a few minutes then went into hiding. Stay safe Samson! We love you! Thank you for stopping by tonight. SED's to all.

Apparently, he was in the tree overnight! So far, I believe the main impact from Dorian is expected to begin tomorrow afternoon here! Report with beautiful early morning captures by Mod jd AEF:

jd_AEF (Moderator): Good Tuesday morning Hamlet! Checking in since 4:00 am, no sign of Samson in the nest tree, although he can sure hide. We will be watching for him!
