Both still on Lookout Point!!

babyhawk_AEF (Moderator): @8:57 pm Samson started to vocalize then A2 did the same. A barred owl was heard several times calling out in the area. Samson went to the nest then up to join A2 at Lookout Point. @ 9:08 pm all is quiet.

2 cam views of A2 and her lunch.

She only ate a small part of it. Samson comes roaring in with a fish to the nest about an hour later, leaving immediately and I am unsure if it was because he saw the snake or that A2 was on her way!! :teehee:

A2 is currently on the nest eating the fish at 2:07 as Samson observes from Lookout Point!

Samson and A2 have certainly been in and out today! She even came back and had a fish on the branches! He flew 1st again this evening and she followed.

gretchen_AEF (Admin): FRIDAY TUCK-IN: Samson and A2 had a beautiful fly-in arriving at the Lumber Yard (LY) in their favorite pine tree and all tucked by ground crew, Glenn. I arrived late only to see a white tail in the dark. LOL All is fine in the pine! SED Y'all and please join us for chat in the morning at 8am!

Edit to add: Samson and A2 flying in from the nest to the LYT this eve, Friday October 4th. Samson and A2 can see the nest from the LY!

suncats_AEF (Moderator): 2:00 pm vultures are visiting the nest! Turkey vultures are circling as some vultures appear to be eating the leftover snake.

A2 was here awhile ago for a short stay after all of her house guests were gone! I think there were 3 turkey vultures, 2 black vultures, 2 great blue herons and 1 crow that stopped by this afternoon. (Turns out there were at least 6 TV's that could be seen on cam)

aka_AEF (Moderator): Good afternoon awesome Hamlet family! What fun we had watching the vultures cleaning up the nest today! They departed at 3:03. A very nice job they did indeed! I hope Samson and A2 approve! A short visit by a couple of herons just now. So much activity in the Hamlet today! A few drops of rain now at 4:16. A2 arrives at nest, then perches on Lookout Point at 5:03 and flies at 5:13.

tweetie_AEF (Moderator): After a nice stay on Lookout Point, and some beautiful poses in the sunset light, Samson briefly flew to the Sleep Branches, but he decided to fly at 7:21, and A2 followed him. Our ground crew is in action and will update us in a bit!

Samson joined the chatters for much of chat, and then he flew off and joined A2 in their favorite pine tree in the LY. . .now referred to as their "sleeping tree"!
