Yup. Remember when Dori came in at Gulf. Eggs were only incubated a bit by Louie, but Dori would chase him off. Then she laid her own eggs and brought the other ones of previous female over. We were all shocked when they all hatched.
So everything is out there for this nest. She just might lay a few more and then full incubation. It is a poo shoot. No two situations are the same so we will wait and see :girlyes:

I remember that well. It was such a joy to see all of the eggs hatch.

The juvie is BIG, as you can see from these pics. I'm tempted to say the juvie is a female, if it wasn't for the digging in the scrape that he/she just did. The juvie looks bigger than the one on the ledge. :girlcrazy:

I didn't get pics of him/her in the scrape, although you could tell that it was very definitely a juvie.

Like before, the juvie is in the box.

Apparently it was Val who approaches the eggs. He doesn't disturb them.

I thought he was a female when he first came but when they are close together, he is smaller. But a big juvenille

I put recorder on here today, but most of day we could just see ledge. I know female was at box 3 times, as I saw her go in that direction twice and cam was on box third time. I do believe I saw male once . I did not put recorder on till about noon.

I am still optimistic for a reclutch . We will see. I still am a member of their group but only read their posts ad they are not open to options etc.

Will share a video I made the other day in a bit . Female is staying cool on floor by box. This male is not a bad male just very young.

I really haven't had much time to check in here...but, did find both of them. Before this pic, he was next to the box and she on the ledge. Both Quiet. She hopped down, and moved to where you see her in this pic, sunbathing. She was vocal. He moved closer, stayed for a few, then moved outta cam view and she stayed where she was..

I think we are about to get new eggs in SF. Val is in the box & if I didn't know better, I think she's in labor.

She has separated the eggs. She has 2 she has kept & 2 she has pushed off towards the side. When I turned on cam this morning, she was laying on the 2 eggs closest to the ledge.

Thought I saw a mating on the building across the way a few days ago, but she was at the far side and he was closer, then went in for the mating and flew back to his point closest to the ledge.
