I caught a nest exchange this morning. Red Girl left, and Trinity came in a minute later. He has quite a time of it covering five eggs. Red Girl wasn't gone long. Maybe needed some time to stretch. They are an awesome pair.

Pip watch time. I don't see anything on this side of the eggs. I really had to lighten..so that's why they look so washed out.

Doesn't help with the sky cloudy. We'd be able to see something if it was sunny. I've been leaving the cam up the last couple of days. She's definitely hearing something! :clapegg:

:hatchegg: Full view of chick about 15 minutes ago. Think there may be an intruder about from the alert calls I heard. Shell was present previous.

I haven't seen the new arrival yet. Red Girl is there and Trinity on the ledge in front of the box. Both look calm. I also read about a possible intruder elsewhere.

:7val: Second hatch can be seen at 16:08 on cam 1 along with the 1st hatch. First hatch could be seen at 14:35 cam1. And upon further review of both cams 1 and 2, both hatches can be seen at 14:35. Will have to dig to see if I can find when 1st one may have been seen alone.

:1val: Couldn't figure out when the 1st hatch was, but chirping from chick or chicks all morning. Red Girl would not do a nest exchange with Trinity a little past 11:30 am and lots of position changes and wiggles by her over eggs between about noon and after 2 pm. Feed at about 19:38 and both were fed, but chick 2 still a little weak at times.

I have read that there are three hatchlings, but have yet to see them. Red Girl is brooding tightly today.

There are now four new falcons in WIlmington. Two hatched yesterday, one sometime before dawn, and a fourth just hatched a little after noon today. One unhatched egg is all that is left.

Tense-free feeding when Red Girl does it. She also makes sure everyone has their fill, even the tiny-tiny ones. :7val:
