Bev. i think this female is two years old and she wants to lay eggs here.
The female does not sit on the eggs of another female. When he lays his egg, it will sit down.

I know that as far as we all know , one female will not sit on eggs of another, but regardless, whether she is meaning to or not, she does sit on them . that is what I was saying here. will try and get my video done up. just little time. I think she has been sticking around so long , that she scrapes and sometimes, lies down or sits down on them.

I find it fascinating that she is not aggressive to male. most females I have seen in this situation are so bossy LOL :teehee:

Aero was the 2020 female so she's done this before. Because the 2020 and 2021 males are unbanded, we can only guess.

:15heartbeat: Egg right before darkness fell. Male left because the female came in wailing. All SCs by Buster C:

And it was she who was last seen in front of the egg as darkness fell:

It is thought this is the male as the sun rose as wailing could be heard from the female in the distance :

And after he got up, this is all that was seen:

Of course no more incubation today as the egg is gone, but there have been a couple visits or so.

:1val: A peregrine did stop by the nest a couple days ago per someone on the IWS chat. Forgot till now.

Edit to add: Went back on today's DVR and happened to catch probably a male at 11:32 am. Eventually he preened.
