After a sleepless night, I decided this was my last post on BCAW.
Thank you very much for enabling me to pursue my passion for 8 years :thankyou

(and it was a difficult time for me personally).
I log out and I will not come in here anymore.

Loza...I am just so sad to read this!! You have been an invaluable member of BCAW for years. I will miss your coverage and contributions to BCAW so much!!! Such a loss for all of us. I am sure it was a very hard decision :thanku

I am placing this here, because when I went to GHO's it took me to VALMONT & FT ST VRAIN ~ 2014-2021. So for those wondering if GHO's are ever attacked during the day by other raptors, here is what happened this morning at Savannah during the hatching process:

"Red-tailed Hawk disturbance at the Great Horned Owl nest 2/19/22 at 10:25am" (Read the summary below the video.)

I thought it was sad to see the Mom's face for that short period after she was plastered against the trunk of the tree. My understanding is...all were okay.

I went to owl site here and added a video from April from chat and then posted link for cam.
hope this helps, all seems well. some were worried about eye but April said it has been like that for awhile.
