first saw shell pulled out at about 11:35pm june10. but more was pulled out at 2:40 am so will call hatch at 2:40am june11

prey brought in at 5:05am and first hatch got a wee bit and second hatch fell over

was down there today and it was nice to see them flying . they are building big apartments in area with lots of glass. no t good for our falcons

radisson came in with big prey. chase came in after her, with a small one. she fed and he pulled at his and tired to feed one. Radisson had a bite. Chase them left. she drug that prey over one kid.

we have 3 males. they were banded early morning. cams were down of course. I will try and get band numbers. Cam useless now. so we may lose a couple. They were assessed for mites and checked for Frounce and all good. Cannot take any out because of Avian flu

emyrauld sent me this picture when cams wen t up this afternoon.


now we can only see box. and they wonder why no one wants to watch our cams anymore.

Peter and I went there to check tonight and we believe we have a hatch. We saw female come out an dfly around. When she landed below nestbox roof she had a wee bit of prey in beak. she did not touvh down anywhere so my gut tells me she fed one or more chicks. the male was on the cross and flew off and around and up to box, to take over. There was no food brought to nest Sunday or Monday. Did not go yesterday , so if I am correct, it could have even been yesterday.
Peter has to download camera and I will try and post pictures tomorrow. I get so far behind

Peter and we’re down around 4 pm and watched . We did see female take prey to box. Peter used scope and could see a white head.
It is strange here as they were both tight to the eggs, but yesterday , spent long times out of box. Prey may be a problem. Peter will download camera and will post a few shots of adults

Am back yesterday around noon. We have not caught Chase on it yet, so Peter and I will try and go down.

Managed to catch 3 in box, around 6:30pm June 21

The young are moving now and they always go south by the door , that has to open, to adjust the cam . And the ledge is just across from the door. One is usually at the pillar on the ledge.
A potential disaster was averted , as they wanted to fix cam. As much as we would like to see where the 3 are, it would be suicide for that door to open at this point. ( it would have been nice, if they had watched cam and it could have been fixed right after banding. But it is what is it, and so they have a way out now). I cannot begin to tell you my frustrations. I am too old for this .

I will post some pictures , I have managed to get this evening
I do not want to cover cams during daytime hours. Too much to see. .

the kids are ( 2- day 32 and 1- day 31) thi sis nail bite time. no eyes on ledge so as heart sick as I am, I just cannot worry. Tara lives not too far from Bell, so I may be able to see if I can see anything on Saturday. our wet weather lately and high winds are a risk fo r them ( plus food fights on ledge)

I hope someone makes it safe.

playing catch up here.
have not seen chase on cam since it went back up . we did see him when we went down in storm as I stated previously, but I do not know what is going on. Peter and I just too tired to cover all sites, but we will try and go down again later today.

she did come back and spend night with them . I think she is off track as if Chase not hunting, she has to do all.
