I did not see it, but I read elsewhere that Niner was fooling with the unhatched egg and maybe poked that hole in it. I honestly don't think there is anything in that egg. It is up to a chick to get itself out of the egg.

Could not see anything through the opening and part of the edge of hole looked to be pushed inward to me. But I know it was capped and hope a chick had not been trying to get out at some point in previous days. The hole was on the very end, not where a chick would be working.

I don't see any sign of the unhatched egg. It may have broken. Crimes, one of those chicks is busy picking at itself while the other two are napping.

:egg8: Mom has them in the back corner with her wings down shielding them from the night air and constant breeze.

:15heartbeat: Came in and saw the chicks in the corner, but no signs of Mom on any of the cams and I thought maybe she is on the stick. Then I went back to the point cam and she must have landed when I wasn't looking as she is there crouched on the point and scanning the skies watching for prey...I have not seen her night hunting in quite awhile, but apparently she is back at it!

:eggthumb: Can see all 3 chicks in the nest. Don't see Mom or at least not within cam view at this time.

:egg8: The chicks are spread about the nest and sleeping right now. They are looking bigger...almost day by day!

This morning around 8:00 one of the chicks was out in front of the scrape. It hopped back into the scrape easily. And around 7:30 tonight I saw a chick go out to that same spot. Looked up at the shield figuring out how to get up there! It stayed out there about a minute or so before returning to the scrape. Boy, the feathers are starting to grow!

:egg8: All 4 stills say offline, but all 4 cams come up. The chicks are sleeping in the nest and I do not see Mom on cam.
