Very pleased to see M15 @SWFL will be named next season if he returns to the nest as will his mate at that time! And viewers will be able to participate in the selection! They had planned to do so this season, but did not find a proper time to do so with all that happened.

Edit to add:

On the con side, someone has pointed out his legacy should be as M15 and I do understand that point...

Fulham and Barnes..

very sad news to report. The chick that was in rehab for trich...and who was doing SO well, that they posted about her yesterday..took a sudden turn for the worse, and passed away today... :sorrow:

This season is exhausting me...

This is all I have been able to come up with for South Bend after the banding, but I am still trying to gain more info. From South Bend Tribune headline on their FB (They made the original article for subscribers only and so far, I have been unable to access from any avenue I have tried, but have put "Plan C" in place...):

"Two South Bend falcon chicks banded and named. Welcome, Skip and Elaine."

So probably 1 male and 1 female, although from time to time we do see those lines crossed...

I have the above info for South Bend now and MORE at site! They are: "Elaine" (f) band: black/blue, U/09 and "Chip" (m) band: black/blue, U/10.

DEF and sky, can't believe I did that. I even triple checked all those numbers as I had to type them in because it would not let me copy and paste from the update, triple check the site...never crossed my mind...I sure spend a lot of time in South Bend on that darn DVR...it's always in my head... :teehee:
