There are falcon watchers on the ground. I'm concerned, as many others on the Wilmington FB page, that she hasn't eaten. The last update said it's raining and therefore Solo can't fly after food, but it's believed that the parents are withholding food to get her to fly. That's the gist of it. Maybe a parent took food while the watchers weren't watching, hopefully! :egg16:

She has eaten, and now flew off. The latest update said that the watchers lost track of her. Parent seemed calm. :girlcrazy:

Solo is flying well, gaining altitude easily, and landing with good precision. Fledge watch has now ended.

As much worry as this Solo fledgling gave us, she needed rescue only once, when her initial fledge was to ground. She and her parents did it themselves. Maybe these falcons know more about how to be a falcon than we do. :biggrin:

Here she is waiting "patiently" for her server to bring her breakfast. Maybe the server, Mom, wasn't quick enough for her. At the end you can see Solo saying "No tip for you!"

To see her fly up to the roof this morning was pure joy. I never knew they had all those cams . Love it . She is now resting and has a nice crop
