Shortly after dawn V arrived and a bit later Gabby came.
They perched side by side on the same branch close together.

Gabby and V3 hanging on to branches in rain and wind( will post picture later)
There were tornado warnings in the area but Hamlet is ok. Lots of damage in area but nest site OK.

Still just browsing , but weather is better today and V3 and Gabby are continuing to build up nest. I do like V3 and hopefully all remains well.

Both were there yesterday. So far today, only Gabby made brief appearance, but nest appears ready. People worried they have not seen mating but there is no rule book saying they have to mate at tree. New we young male, may have other ideas.
At eagle country nest, a lot of mating was on snag tree .

Sorry o photos.
No sign of V3 after about 3:30am yesterday..but last evening Gabby was in , and a younster came in . Gabby was not happy. He stayed till 3:30 am Gabby flew down to nest out this. It came back after 7 and Gabby not happy. She flew out and it followed
I hope V3 is ok as I do like him. We want little ones this year.
Gabby was not happy , this youngster was around. Maybe a 4 year old

It looked like Gabby repeatedly invited mating, but V has no idea what to do.

nice photos today. they were really cute in early morning hours
V3 seems to have an injury above eye and top of head. I would say prey, except top of head looks like puncture wound. but there is am hawk nest nearby so>>>>
