Due to technical problems the NEFL cams will be offline until at least Wednesday, September 18th. After completing our internal testing, we have established that the internet service provider's equipment has failed.

We are very sorry for the inconvenience and the length of downtime but this was the soonest available time for a technician to visit.

Great news! AT&T replaced the router at the NEFL equipment box with a better one and tweaked a few other things. Cams are streaming on the NEFL webpage - https://nefleaglecam.org currently and new links have been created for YouTube streaming.

They are beautiful eagles!
Only 2 cams work - on youtube.
Beau is around too - so Gabby has 2 males.

Since Ufda has tried to mate TWICE with Gabby, he looks like he may be her mate this year. But time will tell. Both doing nestorations together.

I suspect Ufda is A1 from 2023. They 'sing' together.

He is officially being called 24E1 (year, E for eagle, eagle # with impact on nest dynamics this year).

I am cheering him on. His talons point to territorial battles. Gabby is most comfortable with him. :flirty:

She brought in big sticks for the nest this morning while he perched in the tree. She has not had a family for 2 seasons. This guy knows how to mate, has a normal voice, and is interested in nest building. He has rearranged nest material with her. He is in the nest tree, as I write this. Beau has always gone MIA for periods at a time. So, not sure he is out of the picture yet. I know many people like Beau, but in my mind, his instincts seemed off, which people attributed to immaturity. He has been at this nest for 2 seasons. He was not immature last year. Will continue perching to see how this plays out.

I’m not counting Beau out. Early in season and Beau did this last year.

After dawn, Ufda tried to mate with Gabby again, unsuccessful.

Gabby may not be ready - or she may be waiting for Beau.
Mod said they're working on cams - trying to get cam 2 to work.

Dawn - Gabby is safe. She flew into the nest around midnight and laid snugly in the nest bowl til the worst winds passed.

About 6 am she vocalized - she was joined by another eagle offcam.

7.12 am Ufda in nest. Seems he was likely in the nest tree, we just couldnt see him.

7.30 pm Ufda brought Gabby a fish, which she ate.

They are lovely together! :)
