Facebook, Chicago Peregrine program page, is reporting a hatch or hatches at the Oak Street nest (new for us this year.) Gonna take some eagle (or Falcon) eyes to count heads.

Possible pip at Weston. Such a roar on that cam, you can't hear if there are any chick sounds. If it is a pip..its got a way to go.

I don’t know if this qualifies as breaking news or not, but the female at DuBois has an injured leg and is in a lot of pain. She puts no weight on that leg was hopping to move around….

Adding this to breaking news so you can add it to your records. Per “Friends of Canadian Peregrine Foundation” Facebook, The falcon pair at the MEC building, Mississauga, Canada, believed to be Midnight(f) and Renegade(m) had laid 3 eggs, of which one hatched. The lone chick will be banded on Friday, May 16.

The final peregrine chick has fallen ill and the actions of its parents have led experts to believe it may soon die.
The decision was taken to cut the livestream feed after two chicks had already died so far this month.
However, experts are now concerned the chick is displaying signs of a deadly (bird) disease.
