Little King is READY - he is eyeing some place, bobbing his head. I suspect when its morning Nov 13 down under, he'll take off.

Sis has been perching up on Mom's perch.

One of the girls fledged. I saw a video of it, and she took off like a real pro! I'm going to see if the archive has that on it, so I can share it with you.

Second fledge in Melbourne and then right back onto the ledge (Maybe 30 seconds!)

Yeah, I came to report that. The male had a hard landing--fortunately it was on nesting material so it was soft! :flirty:

The other female fledged a short time ago.

The kids. Normally, when the kids fledge at this nest, they turn the cam off. They might have reason to keep it going for a little while now. :loveshow:

Sister Returns for Cuddly Reunion

One of the female fledglings returned to the ledge, reuniting with her little brother. The two flapped together and cuddled on the ledge before the wee male took flight again. Another lovely departure. Two minutes later, the female followed, leaving the ledge empty. But mum F24 returned shortly to keep a lookout for her three fledglings, which she'll do for approximately 4-6 weeks while they hone their flying skills and learn to hunt. It was a sweet ending to this successful breeding season.
