Ok Jazzel, I don't think I like what I see at PC nest. The cam was down for the last 2 days
for me and now it is U-Stream (not as clear) and I see one parent calling and calling and calling.
Then I only could find one chick :o You will have to tell me what is happening, I can't watch...

Beth, yes the cam was down for 2 days... and yesterday the U stream cam on. I watched and did see the male bring fish..I couldn't tell if there was one chick or two, but thought only one. I didn't post because the pics weren't clear, nothing conclusive, and it's a MISC NEST.

The good cam is back on now, clearly only one chick has survived :cry: But, as you see the male is bringing fish, the surviving chick is being fed and looks strong :grin: Females always call, some more than others :lol: nothing to worry about...you need to worry when you see chicks alone on the nest for more than a few minutes!!!

It is the Barbee Mill Nest- Seattle, WA ...I took this photo this am and thought the Ospreys probably are
nesting somewhere else. (This cam has a perch view and a nest view)

Mary, I don't have an answer.... But, I hope you know this breaks my heart..

This nest had 3 eggs....2 hatched..none survived. We have to many failed nests!!!

You may want to go over the past 3 years of NE USA osprey nesting information.
